Gland packing

Hofland Deltaflex Rubbertechniek offers a balanced programme of glandpacking. The correct and durable functioning of a gland packing is dependent on many factors. The choice of the correct yarns (fibres) and their treatment, in combination with lubricants and impregnation, is of decisive importance. Yarns pre-impregnated under vacuum are used for gland packings and during the braiding the material is continuously impregnated with a view to the eventual use of the packing. In this way an optimal product is obtained with excellent running-in characteristics and maximum sealing capacities.
